It can also be used for the incubation of Reptile Eggs. Vermiculite is an expanded low density mineral that has no additives and is heat treated during its production therefore reducing the support of bacteria. Eden Beech Chips are dust free, mechanically manufactured and heat treated to reduce bacteria and enhance absorbency. Regular changing prevents the development of Ammonia and creates a comfortable habitat with a Natural Appearance used as a substrate for many larger species of snakes and lizards as well as birds and some mammals.
Eden Beech Chips do not swell when exposed to moisture. This product may be used for dry habitats or moistened for humid environments.
